Australian Native Flowers

The Bio-Mass of the Albany Region is one of the largest known. Australia has some 20,000 species of native flora. Of these 12,000 species can be found in Western Australia and over 8,000 species can be found within 100 km of Albany.

The influence of the Southern Ocean on our climate is significant and provides ideal growing conditions for both our estate grown and made wines and wildflowers.

Our Australian Native Flowers are sought after by exporters for their size and colour. Current species grown for the export market include Banksia, Coccinea, Banksia Baxteri, Berzelia and Albany Woolly Bush.
